Worship Focused Training

Students gain hands-on experience through team practises, SHOP Prayer Room Nights, Sunday services, and Backstage Pass opportunities. These experiences provide practical insight into serving and leading within a worship team.

Every lesson and class is intentionally designed for worship ministry. Students develop musical skill and practical understanding that directly applies to serving on a worship team.

The Worship Leader Track is open to anyone ages 14+.
This program is designed for worshippers who need someplace to start, somewhere to grow and so much more.

No. WLT 1.0 is designed to help students build strong foundations regardless of their previous experience level.

Yes. All applicants must submit a video of themselves singing or leading a worship song along with a video of themselves playing their primary instrument. A pastoral reference is also required.

Students in the Worship Leader Track can choose either guitar or piano as their primary instrument. The lessons are designed to help students develop their skills needed to confidently serve and lead within a worship team.

Backstage Pass Experiences give students hands-on exposure to real worship ministry environments through team practices, SHOP Prayer Room Nights, Sunday services, and other ministry opportunities.
Students have opportunities to serve on their instrument, participate in worship teams, and gain practical leadership experience.

Some portions of the Worship Leader Track can be completed online, such as worship leader classes and instrument/vocal lessons. However, Backstage Pass Experiences are designed to be completed in-person and students are encouraged to join in-person whenever possible.

All students begin in WLT 1.0 before progressing through the program.
WLT 1.0 focuses on building strong foundations in worship leadership while developing instrument and vocal skills.
WLT 2.0 is designed for students who have completed WLT 1.0 and want to continue growing through new teaching, training, lessons, and practical application.
WLT 3.0 is designed for students who have completed WLT 2.0. Students receive personalized mentorship and development tailored to their goals, strengths, and areas of growth. WLT 3.0 may be repeated as students continue pursuing new goals!
